Christa grew up in a Christian home and regularly heard the gospel, but it wasn’t until her freshman year of college she came to truly understand her need for a Savior. Since then, she has continued to rest in the truth that God is good and does good.

She graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Educational Psychology and has served in different capacities, consistently bringing organization and structure to the teams and processes she supported. She and her husband, Tyson, were also part of a church plant in Starkville, Mississippi, which deepened their love for God’s design for the local church.

In 2021, the Lees moved to Richmond just as RCBC was beginning. As Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Christa oversees the ministry’s day-to-day operations—caring for volunteers, supporting families, and ensuring processes and communication run smoothly.

Outside of church, Christa enjoys cooking, staying active, reading memoirs, and spending time with Tyson and their four children. She counts it a joy to help children grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus alongside the families and volunteers of River City Baptist Church.
